Tlou Energy Limited (LON:TLOU) told investors that it has received a regulatory document in support of the tender for its coal bed methane venture in Botswana. The written confirmation is from Botswana’s Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security. Oriole Resources PLC (LON:ORR), the AIM-quoted exploration company focused on West Africa, reports that it has disposed of its 12.27% holding in Tembo Gold Corp. following the sale of 19,975,000 ordinary shares for net proceeds of £172,000. In a statement, the AIM-listed firm said the sale – by Oriole’s wholly-owned subsidiary company, Stratex Gold AG -supports the company’s previously announced strategy of asset realisation of non-core assets to help fund its ongoing exploration programmes in Cameroon.
Alien Metals Limited (LON:UFO) has raised £700,000 in a share placing and subscription to fund what it says is “high-impact exploration” in Mexico and Australia. The company said it had raised the funds through the issue of around 466mln new shares at a price of 0.15p each, a 29% discount to its Monday closing price.

Ariana Resources (LON:AAU), the exploration and development company operating in Turkey, said it was informed today that its chairman, Michael de Villiers sold 200,000 ordinary shares in the company from his SIPP at a price of 3.141p each, and at the same time purchased 200,000 ordinary shares at 3.269p each. Accordingly, the group added, de Villiers’ holding in the company remains at 54,845,000 ordinary shares, or 5.17% of the issued share capital.
